Welcome to 6th grade!!!!

I am so happy you are here!!! This is my third year teaching 6th grade at Northwest and I love it! I am a former Viking student myself, attending both Northwest Middle and Northwest High. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. (Go Mountaineers!!!!) In my free time I enjoy being with my husband and our two dogs, Gypsy and Hank. I LOVE the beach, so any chance I get, you can find me in Southport. I also enjoy being outside, whether it's walking at the park, taking our boat out to the lake, or reading on my porch. I could eat Chick-Fil-A for every meal if I could, and I have an addiction to Amazon shopping. 

I am a people person and I have always had a passion for teaching. I am looking forward to a great school year with you and your student!
