Hello Viking Nation!

My name is Iverly Patteson. This is my fifth year here at Northwest Middle school and my fourth year teaching 7th grade science. I am so very excited for what this school year will bring! 

I graduated from East Carolina University (GO PIRATES!!) in 2017 with a B.S degree in Public Health and a minor in Biology. I am so excited to share my love of science with all my students! This year we will cover four main topics:

1. Atmospheric Conditions and Weather/Climate
2. Cells and Human Body Systems
3. Genetics and Heredity
4. Forces, Motion and Energy

I have been married for almost six years to my husband Daniel, we have one daughter named Caroline who is 3 and a son named Bennett who just turned one. We also have two cats, Sebastian & Pippa, and a dog named Teddy. Even though I love my dog, I consider myself a crazy cat lady lol. I love to travel and will do so anytime the opportunity arises. The farthest I've been is Italy but I hope to change that in the coming years.
