• Hi! My name is Tori Snow, and I am so excited to join the Oak Ridge family as our school’s Curriculum Facilitator. I am in my eighth year of education. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Lees-McRae College. I began my career in Davie County, teaching 4th and 5th grade at Pinebrook Elementary. After five years, I transferred to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools to teach 7th grade English Language Arts at Meadowlark Middle for three years. Most recently, I was the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Interventionist at Jefferson Middle in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. I am thrilled to be back in the elementary environment serving students, staff, and families at Oak Ridge.

I was born and raised in Davie County, but now I live in Winston-Salem with my husband, Matthew, and our sassy cat, Bella. My husband is also in education. He teaches 6th grade English Language Arts and is working to obtain a Master's Degree in School Administration at Appalachian State University. In my free time, I enjoy thrift shopping, flipping furniture, attending Rescue House Church, traveling, and spending time with family.

In my role, I proudly perform a variety of responsibilities as a school-based professional development leader, specifically for increasing student achievement. I support teachers and administrators in the curriculum, instruction, assessment, and organizational goals of the school and district through providing collaboration, consulting, and coaching services at Oak Ridge Elementary. Additionally, I act as a key member of our school’s instructional leadership team. Working directly with our Principals, I provide overall professional development to teachers through demonstration lessons, model lessons, workshops, and during planning time for instruction, with the direct goal/outcome being increased student achievement for all students at Oak Ridge Elementary.
