    We have compiled some useful resources below to help you navigate the distance learning process.

    Please-  See below info you may need to get set up for online learning while schools are closed. Do not hesitate to email your child's teacher with any questions- See Staff Directory for list of staff/teachers and their email addresses.

     

    If you have checked out a GCS laptop from your school, you may have to log in to the firewall.  Please follow the below instructions.

    Student & Parent Access to Canvas

    How to Access Distance/Online Learning

     

    Student login instructions to Canvas:

    1. Go to NCEdCloud (https://my.ncedcloud.org) (this is how you normally check PowerSchool)
    2. Type in your username/password
      1. Username: PowerSchool Student ID
      2. Password: Birthdate (MMDDYYYY, i.e., 03172008)
    3. Click on the red Canvas icon Canvas image
    4. Find your course.

    Canvas will be the platform used by most teachers to conduct instruction during the closure.  We will begin putting assignments and announcements on Canvas this week but Monday, March 23, will be the first day an assignment will be due.

    If you do not have access to the internet, Spectrum has announced it is providing internet connectivity at no charge for 60 days for students who qualify for free- and reduced-price meals.  Call Spectrum to enroll in free wifi at 1-844-488-8395
