My name is Angela Aguigui-Walton.
This year I am teaching English I, English II, and English IV in the fall and English I, English II, and AP Literature and Composition in the spring.
This is my 19th year with Guilford County and my fifth year with the Academy at Smith. I have an Associates in Liberal Arts from Wayne Community College, a B.A. in English from UNCG, and a Master’s in Teacher Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University.
I enjoy discussion, creative writing, psychology, philosophy, theater, and art. You’ll see aspects of my interests in my teaching style. I especially enjoy literature because stories are powerful tools for developing empathy and building connections.
I tutor in the mornings from 8-9:20am. I am available after school by appointment.
