• Hello!  I'm Mr. Abernathy and I'll be teaching Digital Design and Animation 1 & 2 for the 2023-2024 school year.  I joined the staff in the summer of 2020 after teaching 12 years at Western High from 2005 to 2017 and working outside of education from 2017-2020.  I'm originally from a small town in Burke County but I've lived the past 20 years in Greensboro.  I attended Greensboro College and graduated in 2004.  While at GC I was member of the mens soccer program for four years.  I am really looking forward to a great year at Southeast!
