Who am I?

I am Jessie Lankford and I am an early career School Psychologist with Guildford County Schools. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with my undergraduate degree and in 2020 with my graduate/specialist degree. I am from Asheville, NC and moved to Greensboro a little over a year ago. I worked with GCS as a contracted School Psychologist Intern last school year. I was just married and bought a home here in Greensboro in June!

I have a Boston Terrier puppy named Chesney and she keeps us on the go! I enjoy various sports including football, basketball, golf and tennis. I enjoy watching reality TV, and cooking shows! I am a huge Tennessee fan, Go Vols!

What I do:

During these uncertain times, Psychological Services will be here to support you and your team and will strive to continue providing comprehensive services! Our service delivery might “look” a little different than in the past, as we will be providing more Virtual Services and direct services via telehealth during this remote instructional time. In addition to completing assessments and evaluations, we will be providing comprehensive School Psychological Virtual Services including individual and group counseling (telehealth), consultation with teachers, administrators, and other specialized instructional support personnel, and collaboration with families. We will also continue to provide crisis and emergency response, and work on your school’s targeted goals.
