Drs. Zoe and Michael Draelos are sponsoring The Draelos Science Scholars Program again in June/July 2024.

The Draelos Science Scholars program is a 6 week summer research opportunity which places students in mentored lab experiences in chemistry, genetics, nanoscience, biology, and psychology. Students who complete the program will receive a $750 stipend and a letter of recommendation from their lab mentor. It is an incredible opportunity to gain practical experience in the lab and work alongside practicing scientists. 

The program is intended for juniors (class of 2025) with serious interest in science.

Well-qualified or highly motivated sophomores (class of 2026) may also apply. 

The program is NOT limited to IB students, all aspiring scientists are invited to apply. 

Students must commit to the entire 6 week lab placement.

The completed application is due February 1st, 2024.
