My name is Ms. Hodge, and I am fortunate to teach at Johnson Street Elementary.  I grew up in West Virginia, but my husband, Curtis, and I have lived in North Carolina since 1987.  My teaching career has been in 4 different counties and many different schools in the past 30 years.  We have three grown children and two grandsons.

I love spending time in the mountains.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and being with family and friends.

Your student's first year of middle school is an important transitional year, and I am here to support all students and families. I prefer to communicate through Canvas and Class Dojo.
