Welcome to second grade!

I am excited to begin my 11th year of teaching at Summerfield Elementary. I have experience teaching kindergarten, first and second grade. I am married and have 2 daughters. My youngest, Rowan, is 2 and my stepdaughter, Madison, is 14. Our family is completed with a beagle named Tucker. I love tacky holiday sweaters and the Carolina Hurricanes. 

This year we are very lucky to have Mary Derrick join our class as a student teacher until December. We will be working closely to ensure our students receive top instruction in a loving and nurturing classroom where every child can succeed.
