Mrs. Kimberly Leighty
Kimberly Leighty joined Irving Park Elementary in the summer of 2023. She has experience working in Alamance Burlington Schools, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and now is a proud resident of Greensboro, North Carolina. She has a background in both Instructional Technology and School Administration. She has degrees from Elon University, North Carolina A&T and UNC Charlotte. She is also a graduate of the Guilford County Schools Assistant Principal’s Leadership Academy and is ready to help lead Irving Park to greatness this school year.
After work, you can find Mrs. Leighty playing with her two kids, Denny and Claire, or spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys singing, running and reading.
