Hello!  My name is Becky Kyslinger and I am delighted to be part of the fifth grade team at General Greene.  While I love teaching all subjects, my specialty is ELA (English Language Arts.) I attended Wake Forest University for my Bachelor's degree in English and received my Master's in Elementary Education from UNCG.  I have taught fifth grade for two years in Guilford County before I came to General Greene last year.  Prior to the birth of my children I taught fifth and third grade at a charter school in Forsyth County.  

     Enough of the boring stuff.  Here's what you really need to know about me.  I love the following things in no particular order: chocolate, music, figure skating, family, reading, writing, crafting, musicals, and learning with children.  Well, maybe chocolate is in the right place, but the rest is up for negotiation. :-) I know that all children can not only learn well, but can love learning.  It is my goal to help make this year one that lifts up each child and helps them see how much fun learning can be.  Let's get started!
