Hello!  My name is Becky Kyslinger, and I am delighted to be part of the fifth grade team at General Greene. I attended Wake Forest University for my Bachelor's degree in English and received my Master's in Elementary Education from UNCG.  I have taught fifth grade for five years in Guilford County and this is my fourth year at General Greene.  Prior to the birth of my children, I taught fifth and third grade at a charter school in Forsyth County.  

     Enough of the boring stuff.  Here's what you really need to know about me.  I love the following things in no particular order: chocolate, music, figure skating, family, reading, writing, crafting, musicals, my bearded dragon, and learning with children. Well, maybe chocolate is in the right place, but the rest is up for negotiation. :-) I know that all children can not only learn well, but can love learning.  It is my goal to help make this year one that lifts up each child and helps them see how much fun learning can be.  Let's get started!
