Hello!

My name is Ms. Cassidy Harris and I am a mathematics teacher at High Point Central. I began teaching in 2021, and am a Teach For America corps member. I am a proponent of problem-based learning and creating a liberatory classroom environment where students are encouraged to view mistakes as learning opportunities.

I graduated from Delaware State University with a 4.0 GPA and BS in Mathematics Education. I am originally from a very small town in Maryland (less than 400 people!) and lived in southern Delaware most of my life. I am engaged to a horticulture major who is now an assistant manager at a nursery in Colfax. We have 1 cat, named Cocoa, who is a Snowshoe Siamese and is the leader of our household.
