Greetings!  I am Vernee (ver-nay) Rogers, and I have been in education for 25+ years.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from North Carolina State University and a master's degree from UNC-Wilmington in Education with a concentration in Language and Literacy. 

Since age five, I have always wanted to be a teacher.  Even though I am in the final years of my career, I still love working with young people and watching them mature intellectually and relationally.  My educational philosophy is simple:  Meet students where they are and teach from there.
