About Me:
I am Ms.Croom. I have been with Guilford County Schools for nineteen years. I was in an assistant principal and or in an administrative role for three years before coming to MCHP. I have taught for the other twelve years. I have an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a two master degrees.One from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and one from the University North Carolina Greensboro! I have one child, plus all of my students are my babies, I love to vacation, the color purple and I’m a foodie. For the past 19 years, I have been a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, committed to making a positive impact on my students' lives. Throughout my teaching journey, I have been fortunate to impart knowledge, inspire young minds, and cultivate a love for learning in my students.
My teaching career has been enriched with a diverse range of subjects and grade levels, allowing me to adapt my instructional methods and connect with students from various backgrounds. I have always believed in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.Over the years, I have honed my teaching techniques, incorporating innovative and interactive approaches to engage my students effectively. My passion for continuous learning has led me to stay updated with the latest educational trends and research, ensuring that my teaching practices remain current and relevant.
Beyond the classroom, I have actively participated in school events, clubs, and initiatives, professional development, aiming to create a well-rounded educational experience for my students. Collaborating with fellow educators and parents, I have fostered strong partnerships to support the holistic growth and development of the students under my guidance.As I reflect on my 19-year journey in education, I am grateful for the meaningful connections I have made with countless students and the profound impact they have had on my life as well. I am excited to continue my teaching career with the same passion and dedication, empowering the next generation of learners to thrive academically and personally.I look forward to the great year that is upon us!
