Weekly ConnectED Message

The Erwin staff would like to thank each of you for all acts of kindness shown last week for teacher appreciation. As a staff we consider it an honor to be an important part of your child's development and all tokens of gratitude received were very special and meaningful to each of us.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, god-mothers, surrogate mothers, foster mothers, chosen mothers, aunties, cousins and friends who support and take on the role of mother! A special salute to each of you and for those whose mothers are no longer with us we will hold you close in our thoughts and keep them in hearts and memories forever.

Ok team this is the week Field day will be May 18th for prek-2 and May 19th for 3rd-5th. We are still in need of volunteers so please use the link to sign up. Also, we are in need of cases of water, please consider donating a case of water and turn it in to Mrs. Lequita.

The following are additional reminders for field day.

-Wear your grade level EAGLE PRIDE shirt or a shirt that goes with your grade
level color prek/k purple, 1rst orange, 2nd red, 3rd yellow, 4th green, 5th blue.

- You may get dirty…you WILL get wet!!!!

-Wear comfortable clothes you can get wet and dirty!

-Don’t forget to also wear SNEAKERS to school you can get wet and dirty!

-Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes, water bottle, towel, sunscreen, and a BAG LUNCH or BAG LUNCHES can be received from the cafeteria.
