My name is Tiffany Taylor. I have been a co-teacher at Erwin Montessori School since 2014. Prior to being a co-teacher, I was a parent volunteer. I’ve had three children journey through Erwin with my oldest starting in 2008. I really love this school!! As a co-teacher, I have the opportunity to work with individual students, small groups and whole classrooms assisting the teacher where needed, helping students catch up with work they may have missed or did not quite grasp the first time and even sometimes teaching lessons.
I believe the Montessori Philosophy of following the child is essential for true learning and growth. I also love that a part of what we do at Erwin is to encourage independence and self-discipline.
I live in Greensboro with my husband and three children (one in college). I am originally from Petersburg, VA and attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism and a minor in African American Studies.
I enjoy getting to know new students and seeing former students return with growth and maturity. At my core, I am a helper and love to do what I can to help others.
