Hello everyone! I am Chrestine Cervantes, an international teacher from the Philippines. When I came here to the U.S., I brought with me my 13 years of actual classroom teaching experience in different grade levels both in private and public schools in my country. I taught ESL, Literature, Research, and General and Professional Education subjects for a couple of years. Having the opportunity to join the Teacher Exchange Program is a wonderful journey. I got the chance to experience firsthand the American culture, and understand what the American standard of education is.

In terms of educational qualifications, I finished the degrees: Bachelor of Arts in English major in Applied Linguistics (AB-English) from the University of Southeastern Philippines; Master of Arts in Education - Teaching English (MAEd- Teaching English); and Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Applied Linguistics (PhD-App. Ling.) from the University of the Immaculate Conception, in Davao City, Philippines.
