Welborn Academy End of Grade / End of Course  Assessment Information

Subject matter:  Reading, Math, Science (8^th Grade), Math 1 (7 & 8^th graders)

Purpose: The North Carolina End-of-Grade Tests are designed to measure student performance on the goals, objectives, and grade-level competencies specified in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

Source of the requirement:  NC Dept of instruction

Amount of time: Reading (180 minutes max), math (180 minutes max), Science (180 minutes max)

Schedule:  6/1-ELA, 6/2-math, 6/7-8^th grade science and 7^th grade math for 7^th graders taking Math 1
