Welcome to Mrs. George’s 8th grade Math! 

I am so excited about getting this year started together!

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught 7th, and 8th grade Math courses, including standard math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and now Common Core Math 1. I graduated with a B.S. degree in Math from India and an M.S degree (Applied Math) from UNCG in addition to an NC licensure in Math.

     My goal for 8^th grade is to make students problem-solvers, self-motivated and respectful citizens. I encourage positive parental involvement so that we can work together to make your child have a successful year in 8^th grade.

 Assignments will be posted weekly on Canvas, and students need to keep up with these assignments by using their planners. Mr. Currie sends out a weekly newsletter every Monday. 

Grades will be posted in Powerschool weekly.  I encourage students to always put forth their best and be good to others.
