• Welcome to my page! At Jefferson Elementary, third graders receive Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies core instruction. We recently implemented the CARES reading strategy. Students now know what to do when they come across a reading passage—check for text features, attack the questions, read the text, find the evidence, and slash the answer choices that are clearly wrong. We are proud of our entry into this year's science fair.
