Ms. Kate Burnside

My name is Ms. Burnside, I am thrilled to serve as Southern Elementary's Exceptional Children's (EC) Teacher this school year! 

This is my sixteenth year teaching Exceptional Children. I am a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I received a  B.A. in General Curriculum Special Education in 2009. For the past five years I have served in Guilford County Schools as a Regional Behavior Support classroom teacher. I am thrilled to be a part of the Southern team this year. I look forward to working with our wonderful students and families.
