My name is Ms. Sabrina Morrison, and I am the STEM teacher for grades K-5 at Southwest Elementary School. I am excited use my deep knowledge of biology, botany, and zoology to extend students' knowledge and connect what they are learning in the classroom to the real world. I provide hands-on and minds-on experiences where students are able to authentically engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
I come from a family of educators, and I'm proud to be a teacher. I grew up in Wilson, NC, and moved to Greensboro, NC, nine years ago to attend UNCG. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Science and a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching. Outside school, I am an avid cook, indoor plant enthusiast, and a casual gamer. I also have a corgi named Astro. I am delighted to continue my career with Southwest Elementary and grow as a lifelong learner!
