My name is Evette Licata. This is my 2nd year at Colfax Elementary teaching 3rd. I am a FL native. I spent the first 6 years of my teaching career there. I have been living in NC for about 3 years now.  I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2011 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. This is my 10th year of teaching. 

In my spare time, I like to camp, hike, travel and explore new places with my husband, Daniel and our dog, Max. He will be 3 in November. We just welcomed our first child, Stella, in June of 2023.
