• Hello and welcome to my classroom! My name is Mrs. Pennington and I teach 3rd grade at Colfax Elementary! I have a husband, a daughter, a dalmatian, and two cats that I adore. I am so excited for an amazing year with you! I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Sociology. (GO SPARTANS!) I am currently attending Appalachian State University online, where I will receive my master's degree in education in curriculum and instruction. (Also, GO MOUNTAINEERS!)

      This year, 2022-2023, will be my second year teaching. I previously taught fourth grade at Old Town Elementary in Winston-Salem.  In my free time, I enjoy trying new vegetarian foods, traveling, watching movies, reading Stephen King novels, and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to get to know you and have a wonderful school year!
