Welcome to Honors Math 2 and Math 3!  I am looking forward to be your math teacher this school year! 

I have twenty years of experience in education, starting from teaching in India and transitioning into teaching Middle School and High School in Upstate NY. I have taught 7-12 grade technology integrated classrooms in Ithaca, NY. During my time at Ithaca I have taught SAT Prep classes, College Statistics, Advanced Algebra/Trig and many other high school and middle school courses. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and earned the Masters in Teaching Adolescence Mathematics - from SUNY (State University of New York) Cortland, in Upstate NY. Apart from teaching mathematics, I have experience leading various art, food/culture projects and leading a group for students with disabilities and its allies. Before coming here, I taught at "The Academy at Lincoln" for the past seven years. I am thrilled to start my first year working with the students of “Northwest Guilford High School” and sharing my passion for teaching diverse learners. I am looking forward to a great year!
