• Salutations, 

    It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to my English class! During my tenure as an educator, I've primarily taught English, and am certified to do so in grades six through twelve. I believe that being an educator is one of the most noble professions one can pursue, and I intend to spend all the time I have as an educator dedicated to the success of every student I encounter.  

    I'm a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and hold a B.A. in English. I’m also a graduate of Gardner-Webb University, where I earned an M.A. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Teacher Leadership. It is my goal to remain committed to our students, and that this commitment is unparalleled and easily identifiable through my daily interactions with our teachers and students.  

    I know every student has the potential to succeed, but I also know that success looks very different to each student. It is for this reason that Greensboro College Middle College is so important, as we focus not only on content, but how students can apply information they learn in class to their personal lives through various interdisciplinary and rigorous methods. I look forward to working with each of my students this year.
