    Welcome to 4th Grade!  I had the privilege of teaching at Southern Elementary from 2008 - 2018. After taking time to get my own child settled into school, I returned to teaching in February of 2022 and to Southern (my home) in November of 2022. 

    I graduated initially from the University of North Carolina at Chapel with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. This is my 12th year of teaching and I am honored to be working with your child and family this year!  I am looking forward to all the great things we will achieve!
