Hi there! My name is Candace Myers, and this is my first year teaching at GCMC. I am a 2x Appalachian State University graduate with a B.S. in English, Secondary Education, and an M.A. in English, with a College Teaching concentration. My ultimate goal as an English educator is to teach students to understand the power of language, its power to heal and break, and how they can apply critical thinking skills to understand how language is used and presents itself in their own lives. I am so excited to be working with you this school year!
