About the Principal

Candace Hudson became principal of Christine Joyner Greene Education Center, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Ms. Hudson has been an assistant principal at Page High since 2018. As assistant principal, she oversaw the Exceptional Children’s (EC) department, which achieved 100 percent compliance with state guidelines since 2019. During her tenure, Page High met growth in all tested areas for the 2022-23 school year. She has also been an EC teacher at Hunter Elementary, McNair Elementary and Dudley High.  

Ms. Hudson holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and history from the University of West Indies-Kingston, Jamaica, a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, a master’s degree in special education and a post-master's certificate in school administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
