Welcome to 7th Grade ELA! I am so happy to be your teacher this year.

A little bit about me:

This will be my second year teaching ELA. Prior to teaching full-time, I tutored and subbed at Northwest Middle. In a previous life, I was a corporate meeting planner. I also worked in public relations and marketing.

I live in Oak Ridge with my husband and daughter, our black lab, and our two cats. My daughter is a junior at Northwest High; she is the goalie for the field hockey team, and is actively involved in DECA.

When I am not at school, I will be working on my teaching licensure. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, road trips, and working out. I also LOVE board games! We have over 500 games in our collection. My favorites are Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Lords of Waterdeep, Space Base, and Cascadia.
