My name is Elaine Peck, and I grew up one of five children on an island in South Georgia. I attended Wake Forest and earned a BA in History and University of Georgia where I completed a BS in Biology. I have been teaching high school for over a decade in subjects such as Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy and AP Psychology. My teaching philosophy is guided by the idea that every student has the ability to succeed with the right support and guidance. I aspire to create a classroom space where everyone feels known and heard and lifts each other up in the learning process. Personally, I have been married to my wonderful husband Craig for 27 years and we have three awesome kids 21, 19, and 16. Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking or any outdoor activity, yoga, and reading. I am so excited to be joining GCMC community!
