My name is Doug Foutty.  I am originally from Petroleum, WV. Grew up in Parkersburg, WV with my parents, brother and sister.  I have 3 sons Craig 14, Craven 16 and Andrew 22. 

 

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from WVU-Parkersburg, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in School Administration from Gardner Webb University.

 

This will be my 29th year in education during which I have taught 5th -8th grade.  I have served as an assistant principal for the last 19 years.  The last 17 years have been in Guilford County.  Throughout my career I have worked with students in Pre-K - 12^th grade.  I have been working with middle and high school students for the last 17 years.
