Welcome to my teacher webpage! My name is Alicia Nelson, and I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals. I teach Health Science courses at Northwest, where my mission is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the dynamic world of health and medicine.

In addition to my role as a Health Science educator, I am also the co-advisor for HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). In this capacity, I strive to foster a supportive environment that encourages students to explore their interests in health careers, develop leadership skills, and engage in community service. Together, we work on various projects and competitions that enhance our students' learning experiences and prepare them for future opportunities in the health field.

With a background in nursing, I am dedicated to providing an engaging and hands-on learning atmosphere in my classroom. I believe in the importance of real-world applications and strive to create lessons that are relevant to our ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
