6th Grade Math with Mrs. Kerr

Hello everyone! My name is Michelle Kerr and this is my first year at Northwest Middle, but my 15th year teaching. My husband was previous active duty military, so I have taught in several schools and states. My most recent move is from Pearce Elementary where I taught for 5 years (5th grade math and science). I spent 2 years at Jamestown Middle (6th grade math), and have taught in Concord, NC, Florida and Montana! I earned my teaching degree from Pfeiffer University, where I played soccer. I then earned my Master's in Reading Education from UNC Charlotte. I also have my National Boards in Early Adolescent Math, and am certified to teach AIG students. My husband and I have two daughters, Brynn and Tessa, who attend Pearce. When I am not cheering them on at swim meets and soccer games, I love to travel, shop, hike, relax at home with my family and spend time with our dog, Winnie.
