My name is Pamela Hill, and I currently serve as one of the School Counselors at Northeast Middle School. This will be my 9th year working in the Northeast, and I am excited about the new opportunities for our wonderful scholars this year. Prior to working at Northeast, I had over 17 years of experience in various human services and educational settings.
I am a proud alum of East Carolina University, University of NC at Greensboro, NC A&T, Ole Miss, and University of West Alabama. I am a strong believer in lifelong learning. I challenge myself to continue to grow personally and professionally by expanding my knowledge not only academically, but also culturally and socially. This is a belief that carries over to my family life as my husband, two adult daughters, two grandchildren and I love building, gardening, and learning new things together.
I believe my role as a School Counselor is providing support, resources, and guidance for students to access their path to their fullest potential. I believe that to help our scholars grow, we must address the whole child, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I love to watch as students blossom and realize that we all have our own path to success and evolution schedule.
I am a true believer that it Takes a Village to nurture a successful, well-rounded student and I look forward to collaborating with you and your student. I know working together this year, we will be able to accomplish “NE thing.”
