Welcome to 6th Grade!

My name is Brandy Madujibeya, and I am excited about teaching ELA this school year. This is my second year teaching 6th grade ELA at Northeast.  I graduated from the University of NC at Greensboro with a bachelor's in Psychology.   I have two children, a 10-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.

I transitioned to teaching because I heard a quote from Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." When I was in school I did not have many teachers that took the time out to encourage and empower me to do my best.  I want to be that teacher that helps scholars to be the best they can be, because they are our future. My favorite motto is "Be the Change you want to see in the World.
