Hi!  My name is Tara Merritt, and this is my first year teaching at Western.  I've been teaching for fifteen years now.  I graduated from UNCG and completed my teaching certifications in Math Grades 6-9.  I got married recently and am going through the name change process. Therefore, for the time being, if you see Tara Beal, that is also me but hopefully it will all be changed over to Tara Merritt soon!  I enjoy music of all kinds, board and video games, escape rooms, and teaching!
