Good evening MCHP families, this is Principal McHam with your weekly message.
Students must be signed out by a parent in the front office if they are leaving early.
Monday and Tuesday are teacher workdays and students do not have any GCS classes.
Interims will go out on Wednesday for all students.
The PreSAT scores were given out this past Friday to all students who tested.
November 15th is picture make-up day for any students who missed the first set of pictures; underclassmen and seniors.
Another reminder that all students must be signed out in the front office by an adult that is on their pick-up list and tomorrow and Tuesday are teacher's workdays and the Middle College is closed to students. However, GTCC will still have classes.Tuesday is also election day. My hope is that you will use your vote. That is your voice. On this year’s ballot is the fraction of a penny sales tax that can do an enormous amount for GCS teachers and frontline workers like cafeteria staff, custodians, and office support. For perspective, a $4 cup of coffee would cost $4.28 instead of $4.27. That single penny will bring additional funding to increase the pay for our hard-working teachers and lowest-paid staff.
Thank you and have a great evening.

If it is passed, a $20 pizza would cost an additional 5 cents in tax to support our local public schools. Learn more at www.gcsnc.com/salestax. Thank you and good night.
