Hello and welcome to my classroom page! My name is Ms. McPherson, but you can also call me Ms. M. I am beyond excited to be teaching First Grade here at Stokesdale! This is my second year as a teacher, and my first year in First Grade. Before joining Stokesdale, I taught as an EC (Exceptional Children) assistant and teacher at Claxton Elementary.

Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Teaching through the Prepare Plus program, which is a collaboration between Guilford County Schools and High Point University. I earned my undergraduate degree at UNC Greensboro in 2023, and I’m passionate about continuing my education and growth as an educator. In my free time, I love to travel, shop, and spend time with my family and friends. I’m also a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers, so you can always catch me cheering them on during football season! I’ve traveled to three different countries, and I hope to continue exploring the world.

Teaching has always been my true passion, and I’m excited to share that passion with my students this year. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead, full of learning, growth, and fun!
