Welcome ACES Parents to the Bluford-Peeler Program where long-lasting friendships are formed.  The 2019-20 year will be a continuation of very exciting and challenging activities that serve to enrich your student's science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) development.  Our staff is well prepared to meet their health, welfare and safety needs as well as supply the necessary resources for their quality care throughout the afternoon.  Your Kindergarten through second graders form the group known as "STARS" while the third through fifth graders make up the "Explorers".   Your student will receive the best in homework assistance and enjoy exploring cities, states and other nations through literacy and STEAM activities.  The Bluford-Peeler ACES will help your student develop solid relationships, build strong character and learn how to provide meaningful service to the community.   STARS and EXPLORERS learn to love books and the act of reading where they discover big ideas through discussion, drama, art, movement and writing with their peers.  Everyone like 'out of the building' activities;  students get to take field trips and participate in special activities on days of early release and teacher workdays.  It is hard to curve their enthusiasm for the remainder of the year once they experience the first special day.  I hope you will discover the great value and agree with ACES that this is a cost effective, fun way to further the development of your child as well as supply a nutritious snack prior to going home.
