• Welcome to the Media Center.  The Media Center is the hub of our school. Every day, students flock to the library to check out new books, discover new authors, or learn about new subjects. 

    Students are welcome to visit the Media Center every morning to select books.  The Media Center is also open throughout the day for open circulation. 

    Students can use their One Cards at Greensboro Public Libraries. For NC Digital Kids---gcs+student #.

    GCS Winter Break 2023 Reading Challenge

    Guildford County Schools Better Together GCS Reads 30 Winter Reading Challenge on a purple and yellow block

    PreK-8th grade students who read 300 minutes during Winter Break, December 21-January 1, will receive one free ticket to the January 20 UNCG basketball game and one free ticket to the February 10 UNCG basketball game. Up to 4 additional tickets can be purchased for $10.

    Students will record their reading minutes in the Beanstack app.  Please be on the watch for the flyer coming home with instructions to download the app!
