Travis Seegars, Principal
A native of Greensboro, NC, Travis Seegars received a BA in Psychology in 2005 and his master's in School Administration and School Counseling from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2009 and 2013. Mr. Seegars started his educational career in 2009 where he served four years as a school counselor at Northern Guilford High School. In 2013, Mr. Seegars left Guilford County Schools to become an assistant principal for Robert B. Glenn High School within the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School District. After only serving two years in Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools, Mr. Seegars returned to Guilford County Schools as an assistant principal for Ben L. Smith High School. It was during this part of his career that Mr. Seegars gained a full understanding of the importance of student success and the role that every educator plays in cultivating what success looks and sounds like in the students we serve. In 2017, Mr. Seegars accepted the role of principal for the Middle College at NCA&T. The Middle College at NCA&T is an all-male, grades 9-12 Guilford County Schools high school, located on the campus of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Mr. Seegars has served as the instructional leader for the Middle College at NCA&T for seven years. During this time, he has led the school to high proficiency on state accountability measures and a 100% graduation rate with 100% college and military acceptance during his tenure. Mr. Seegars firmly believes that an engaged and effective administrator overwhelmingly affects the culture of a school community. This type of leadership must be deeply rooted in equity, diversity, community relationships, and a clear instructional vision. Only through this level of tireless work, can we ensure success for all students.

Shana Richards, School Counselor
My name is Mrs. Richards and I am excited to serve the families of The A&T Four Middle College! Having worked at The Middle College several years ago, I am happy to return to the first high school that I worked at as a School Counselor! I have fond memories of the students and families that I worked with during the early days of my career and I can't wait to make new memories with ALL of YOU!
I was born and raised in the Peach State, but I claim North Carolina as my home! I attended Georgia State University in Atlanta for Undergrad and Auburn University *WAR EAGLE* in Auburn, AL, for Grad School. I'm married to my best friend and we have 2 sons, Brandon & Brenton. I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, & watching SEC Football in the Fall : )
I believe that everyday is a new day every day, so I leave the worries and concerns of yesterday behind. I live in the present and I plan for the future!
We are going to have an AMAZING YEAR!
