Welcome to Mrs. Peaslee’s Home Page.  I am a fourth grade teacher at Colfax Elementary.  I look forward to teaching your child this year!  We are going to have a fun but challenging year in all our core subjects of reading, writing, science, social studies, and math.  I will be teaching all subjects this school year.

I have a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and a deep commitment to teaching children how to learn.  My classroom mission is to build your child’s confidence and inspire them to try new things by providing a positive classroom environment.  I have an open door policy, and welcome parental involvement within the class.  I believe our children's academic, emotional, and social success is achieved through support both at school and at home.

I would like to share with you a little about myself.  I have been married to my husband Phil for 30 years, and we have two sons who both attended Colfax Elementary. We also have two furry family members, our dogs Charlie and Lily. I am so excited to be a part of an amazing school that has such wonderful students, parents, and staff!
