for the first part of the school year!
We are so excited about the 2018 - 2019 school year!
Hello. My name is Renee Lambert and I am excited to get to know you and your child! I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BS Degree in Reading Education and Elementary Education. I have been teaching for twenty-three years, most of which were in Yadkin County. Twenty of those were in second grade! My husband, Andy, is the pastor at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church. We have lived in the community for one year, and we love it! Our daughters are Grace and Joy. Grace is married to Luke and they have one sweet son named Logan. Joy is living in Los Angeles right now, but moving to Charlotte this fall. My hobbies include reading, church activities, and watching Duke basketball. I am looking forward to an exciting few months.Hi! This is Mrs. Mindy Brame. I am not able to be with my class until January 2019. I miss the students so very much! However, I look so forward to meeting each and every one of you and your children! This is my 20th year teaching at Oak Ridge Elementary! I taught 3rd Grade for 15 years and have been in 2nd Grade for the past 5 years. I attended Greensboro College and graduated from UNCGreensboro. My husband, Darrell and I have raised 3 fine sons who are amazing husbands and fathers. My finest joys in life now come from my 5 Grandchildren. My oldest son, Justin and his wife, Emily (also a teacher) have 2 beautiful children: Carter (4th grade) and Piper (K). My middle son, Christopher and his wife, Brittany have 2 adorable boys: Aiden (2 years old) and Tucker (3 months). Then, my youngest son, Chase (also a teacher - University) and his wife Reka are currently living in UAE, where he is teaching, have 1 child, Alexander (1 year). To say the least, I am very blessed. I am originally from NW Guilford County, and attended public school here, so this is definitely - home. My hobbies are continuing to learn best practices in teaching and reading. My top priority is my family! Second Grade is an AMAZING year! I look forward to meeting all of you very soon!
