• Welcome to 5th Grade

    We would like to welcome students and parents to a new school year at Colfax Elementary School. We are very excited about beginning the new year! We hope you are too! I will be teaching science as part of a collaborative team. Our goal is to help encourage each child to do his/her best, to be the best he/she can be, to become independent learners, and to attain the academic goals set forth by the North Carolina State Department of Education and Guilford County Schools.
    Fifth grade is very different from what you have experienced throughout elementary school thus far. All students must be prepared to work toward a successful and productive year.
