Second grade is a wonderful place of exploration and discovery. This school year, second graders, begin to deepen their knowledge of the world around them through literature.  I have many wonderful and exciting learning experiences planned for the children. Second graders will participate in many exciting group and collaborative project-based learning activities. Students’ learning will be differentiated.

I am very excited about being your child’s second grade teacher! Your children comprise my 28^th class at Oak Ridge Elementary.  I have spent my entire teaching career at Oak Ridge Elementary. I have taught grades second-fifth. I received my B.S. and M. Ed. from Greensboro College.  I reside in Greensboro with my wife, LaDair. I have a grown son who lives in Utah. My wife and I are native North Carolinians.  We enjoy spending time with our family and friends.  Please feel free to contact me throughout this school year.  I truly feel honored to teach these children.
