Ms. Debbie Benton

I have worked for Guilford County schools for 27 years as an elementary and high school counselor.  I currently serve as the transition counselor for S.C.A.L.E. Academy in Greensboro and Dean Pruette S.C.A.L.E. Academy in High Point. I am the proud mother of three young ladies. I received my Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Science degree in Counseling/Education from the North Carolina Agricultural And Technical State University. I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. I find great joy in building relationships with my students and their families. I believe that there is something good to be seen and heard from every student. My heart desire each day is to plant a seed of hope in the lives of young people.
