Welcome to Mrs. Jones's Fifth Grade Class! I have been a Colfax Fifth Grade teacher since 1996. I strive to get to know my students academically and socially.   I am a mother of two wonderful sons and I have a great husband who supports what I do each day in my classroom. It is my goal to make learning fun and exciting for my students each and every day! Teaching is truly my passion and what I love to do!  I am very fortunate to work with a wonderful group of fellow teachers that believes every child can succeed. Educational Profile: -I have been at Colfax since 1996 teaching fifth grade. -I went to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. -I am Mentor Certified for GCS.
