Falkener Elementary's staff is key to our school's success. Falkener achieved growth as a school and on both reading and math on the 2016-17 North Carolina School Report Card. While we can still improve, that growth score means students grew at least one years' worth of learning in one school year, which is progress.
Thirty-eight percent of our teachers have advanced degrees, which is higher than the Guilford County Schools (29 percent) and state (29 percent) averages. Forty-three percent of our teachers have 10 or more years' experience, which means they are veterans of the profession and can bring their expertise to the classroom.
